Lake Superior Helicopters Alumni Success Story: Nathan Stenzel
“I’m really grateful for the high standards ingrained in me during my training at Lake Superior Helicopters,” said Nathan. “I highly recommend Lake Superior Helicopters to anyone thinking about becoming a professional helicopter pilot.”
We always enjoy seeing and catching up with our flight school alumni. Nathan Stenzel is a proud graduate of Lake Superior Helicopter’s two-year professional helicopter pilot degree program, in partnership with Lake Superior College. As an Army Veteran, Nathan used his GI Bill® to cover the vast majority of the costs of the program. After graduation, he remained at Lake Superior Helicopters as a flight instructor as he built up more flying hours and helped support other students navigating through the program. After that, he worked as helicopter tour guide in the Gulf Coast. He now serves as a contracted military helicopter flight instructor for U.S. Navy and U.S. Marines in Fort Worth, Texas.
Nathan credits the outstanding training and support he received at Lake Superior Helicopters for helping set his career up for success.
“I’m really grateful for the high standards ingrained in me during my training at Lake Superior Helicopters,” said Nathan. “LSH really does things the right way, with an emphasis on safety and high standards. That has really helped me in my career. I highly recommend Lake Superior Helicopters to anyone thinking about becoming a professional helicopter pilot.”
We’re proud of you and your continued success, Nathan! Thanks again for stopping by and for helping represent our program so well throughout the country!
Lake Superior Helicopters partners with Lake Superior College to offer a two-year pilot degree program for helicopter flight training. Applications for fall enrollment are now being accepted. Anyone interested in learning more about becoming a pilot is encouraged to complete a brief inquiry form to learn more about the program, to arrange an individual tour of training facilities, as well as an opportunity to speak with an admissions representative.
