- We will give you a realistic price based on our average student completion. This price will include all books, equipment, check rides, and medical evaluations.
- In cooperation with Lake Superior College we offer a fully accredited Associates Degree program as well as a Diploma Program.
- With the added accreditation of Lake Superior College, you will be eligible for a much wider array of funding and financial aid options.
- We are the only training facility north of the metro area training in the Schweizer 300’s which are undisputedly the safest piston helicopter in the world. Its smooth and stable three blade rotor system is extremely forgiving to students and the safety margins are second to none!
- We offer students a customizable Robinson R44 Transition Course.
- Lake Superior Helicopters trains more helicopter pilots in Minnesota and Wisconsin than all other flight schools in Minnesota and Wisconsin combined.*

We have several different tracks you could take each having its own benefits:
- Train directly through Lake Superior Helicopters
- Train with Lake Superior Helicopters through the LSC CAA Continuing Education Program
- Train with Lake Superior Helicopters as a Diploma seeking student at LSC CAA
- Train with Lake Superior Helicopters as a Degree seeking student at LSC CAA
- If you are unable to achieve your desired rating in the allotted number hours, we will give you the helicopter rental at cost until your goal is achieved.
- Our full-time students progress from no pilot training to becoming a Certified Flight Instructor/Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument (CFI/CFII) on average in 16 months.

Training
- We meet with each of our new students and create a realistic personalized syllabus for each based on their goals, schedule, and budget.
- A full time dedicated student can achieve their Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument (CFII) in as little as nine months although the average is 12 months. That is from zero flight time to an employable helicopter pilot within 1 year!
- Our goal is to not just train you to be a pilot but to be an exceptional one.

- We seek to create a safe, efficient, and quality pilot training environment by using knowledgeable safety conscious pilots and the safest equipment available.
